The first part examines evolving tastes and the dynamics of contemporary lifestyles around the globe, through the works of leading figures such as Arno Brandlhuber, Beatriz Colomina, Konstantin Grcic, Zhao Yang, and Martti Kalliala. The second part of the volume has a more visual approach, in which the five different building types are presented through a photographic panorama realized in the various locations.
