Jackson Pollock and the school of New York on display in Rome from October 10, 2018 at the Complesso del Vittoriano, Ala Brasini.
From October 10th the Ala Brasini del Vittoriano welcomes one of the most precious nuclei of the collection of the Whitney Museum in New York: Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline and many other representatives of the New School York burst into Rome with all the energy and the breaking character that made them eternal and unforgettable “Irascible”.
The exhibition is produced and organized by the Arthemisia Group. Paul Jackson Pollock (Cody, Wyoming, 28 January 1912 – Long Island, 11 August 1956) was an American painter, considered one of the greatest representatives of abstract expressionism or action painting.
