The exhibition illustrates Ruth Orkin’s entire oeuvre in a large anthological exhibition, through an evocative and engaging journey to discover one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century, whose story has remained hidden until today.
The exhibition allows us to discover the evocative power of Ruth Orkin’s photographs, which she was able to tell, like few others, more than forty years of our history, from photographs of bicycle journeys, to shots pervaded by the atmosphere of American films of the 1950s such as Roman Holiday, to portraits of illustrious personalities from the Hollywood or New York world such as Robert Capa, Lauren Bacall or Woody Allen.
