The Van Gogh exhibition at Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome will be open from 8 October 2022. It is the largest and most awaited exhibition of the year dedicated to the Dutch genius, just on the eve of the 170th anniversary of the artist’s birth.

Through the most famous works of Van Gogh – including his famous Self-Portrait (1887) – the story of the most famous artist in the world will be told. Despite a life steeped in tragedy, Van Gogh paints a shocking series of Masterpieces, accompanying them with sublime writings (the famous “Letters” to his brother Theo Van Gogh), inventing a unique style that made him the most famous painter in the history of art.
